Our church is having a dinner and then some singing and fellowship time. We'll probably disband around 10:30pm to get home before the roads become dangerous. Although I think there are less people who drink and drive, it only takes one to ruin your life!

Open2life, you can probably find the ready-to-build ginger bread houses on sale and you can buy a few and have a competition as to who can build the most creative house ie. guys against girls.
You can split the group in two (once again girls against guys) and have each group do a music video to one particular song and film each 'video'. Give each team 30 minutes of so to come up with ideas and film their video. Don't let each team see or hear the other team while their planning and videotaping. Then gather everyone back into one room and play each video and judge who had the best performance. These will make a nice keepsake on a DVD for everyone too.

Board games are a new years eve tradition. Lots of laughter too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

We ended up inviting my in-laws over, and had a nice evening together with our kids.

Played some board games (thanks for the good idea Jack!) & ate snacks.

At midnight, the kids got a whole bunch of their noisey toys, we opened our front door and they made some noise.

Lucky neighbours ;)
